Invite Mr. Liang Henian to carry out special training on "public policy evaluation method"

On October 25, the Social Security and Law Commission invited Mr. Liang Henian to the CPPCC organ to give a special lecture on the "public policy evaluation method", which was attended by some CPPCC members and cadres. This lecture is a specific measure taken by the provincial CPPCC organs to comprehensively implement the spirit of the CPPCC Central Committee Working Conference and the important thought of General Secretary Xi Jinping on strengthening and improving the work of the CPPCC, and improve the ability of members to perform their duties.
Liang Henian, Chinese Canadian, Dean and Professor of the School of Urban and Regional Planning, Queen's University of Canada. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1970, obtained a master's degree in urban planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1976, a master's degree in land economics from Cambridge University in 1982, and a doctor's degree in land development and management from Reading University in 1985. He has published nearly 100 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals, of which he has hosted relevant columns in Urban Planning magazine since 1986 and published more than 40 papers. His monograph "Concise Land Use Planning" has been listed as a textbook for planning students in Canada. The "National Public Real Estate Senior Officials Forum", "Enterprise Real Estate Senior Seminar" and "Ambassador Forum" organized by him in Canada have wide influence and academic appeal in Canada and the Asia Pacific region. In 2003, he was selected into the Canadian Who's Who. In addition to urban and regional planning, he also provides advice for China's development in science, technology, economy, resources and other aspects. In 2002, he won the National Friendship Award, the highest award for foreign experts awarded by the State Council of China.
