The waterproof blanket is made of graded natural sodium based bentonite particles and corresponding additives as raw materials, and the bentonite particles are fixed between the geotextile and plastic woven cloth through needle punching process and equipment. Bentonite waterproof blanket not only has all the characteristics of geotechnical materials, but also has excellent waterproof (seepage) performance.
According to the production process, the bentonite waterproof blanket can be divided into: needle punched sodium bentonite waterproof blanket, needle punched membrane covered sodium bentonite waterproof blanket and adhesive sodium bentonite waterproof blanket.
The needle punched membrane covered sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is a layer of high-density polyethylene geomembrane compounded on the outer surface of the nonwoven geotextile of the needle punched sodium bentonite waterproof blanket.
Adhesive sodium bentonite waterproof blanket is a kind of sodium bentonite waterproof blanket produced by bonding bentonite particles to high-density polyethylene sheet with adhesive and compressing. Its physical characteristics are as follows:
1. It has excellent waterproof and anti-seepage performance, the anti-seepage hydrostatic pressure can reach more than 1.0MPa, the permeability is 5 × 10-11m/s, and the mass of bentonite per unit area is 5kg/m2. The bentonite is a natural inorganic material, which will not have aging reaction, and has good durability; And it will not cause any adverse impact on the environment. It is an environmental protection material
2. It has all the characteristics of geotextile materials, such as separation, reinforcement, protection, filtration, etc. It is easy to construct and is not limited by the construction environment temperature. It can also be constructed below 0 ℃. During construction, GCL waterproof blanket only needs to be paved on the ground. During facade or slope construction, it can be fixed with nails and washers and lapped as required.
3. Easy to repair; Even after the completion of waterproof (seepage) construction, if the waterproof layer is accidentally damaged, as long as the damaged part is simply repaired, the perfect waterproof performance can be regained.
4. The performance price ratio is relatively high, and the use is very wide.
5. The width of the product can reach 6 meters, which matches the specifications of foreign geotextile (membrane), greatly improving the construction efficiency.
