1. Organize and implement the guidelines and policies of the central and provincial party committees on password work, implement the password law, and put forward suggestions and opinions on major issues of password development in the province;

2. Be responsible for formulating and implementing the development plan of the province's password work, guiding and promoting the application of passwords in networks and information systems;

3. According to national laws and administrative regulations, draft local regulations and government rules on password management, and formulate normative documents;

4. Be responsible for the implementation of business leadership to the city (prefecture) password management department, and conduct business training for password staff;

5. Organize password publicity and education, and guide social organizations in Sichuan such as universities, scientific research institutions, industry associations to carry out academic exchanges, policy research, public services and other activities;

6. Perform password administration functions according to law, supervise the commercial password activities of commercial password practitioners, and encourage and promote the development of the commercial password industry in the province;

7. Work with relevant departments to investigate and deal with password leakage and illegal activities using passwords.
