The award ceremony of the third overseas Chinese short video contest was held

People's Political Consultative Conference Network, Beijing, March 27 (Reporter Li Yinfeng) Recently, the award ceremony of the Third Overseas Chinese Short Video Competition "Pursue the Dream of China, Unite and Strive to Start the Journey" was held in Beijing. At the scene, the stories and characters displayed in the award-winning short videos deeply moved the audience. Behind these works are nearly 370000 short videos submitted by overseas Chinese.

The sponsor of this activity, the Federation of Overseas Chinese, introduced that the works in this overseas Chinese short video contest were collected from the returned overseas Chinese and their relatives and overseas Chinese through the organizations of the Federation of Overseas Chinese at all levels, which focused on the story of overseas Chinese and the new era and new China. It is reported that since the launch of the competition, overseas Chinese at home and abroad have actively participated, with about 369000 short video contributions and about 1.9 billion comprehensive views. In the end, the organizing committee selected 1 first prize, 4 second prizes, 8 third prizes, 20 excellent works and 10 excellent organization awards.

Wan Lijun, the party secretary and chairman of the Chinese Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, who attended the event, encouraged the returned overseas Chinese families and overseas Chinese to play the role of bridge and link, innovate the external discourse system, make good use of new media platforms, help tell Chinese stories and spread the Chinese voice.

At the award ceremony, the fourth overseas Chinese short video contest "Dream of China and carry forward the spirit of the new era" was launched at the same time.
