Precision low resistance measurement
In low current circuits, the contact failure of electromechanical components is the main problem in component reliability. HP 4338B provides optional low AC test signal (1 μ A~10mA). At present, users can characterize the low resistance characteristics of electromechanical components under the condition of low current. The high resolution of 10 μΩ can be used to determine the tiny difference of relay, switch, connector, printed circuit board pattern and cable in contact resistance test. The 1kHz test signal eliminates the potential error introduced by the influence of thermoelectric on the contact of the tested element. The 1kHz AC test signal is the method to check the internal resistance of the battery, because it avoids the consumption of DC energy.

High speed measurement
High speed (34ms) built-in comparator and HP-IB/processor interface may form a measurement system with automatic processor and external computer, so that the production test time can be reduced to the low limit of Zui.

Automatic measurement mode
When a large number of continuous tests are carried out and the test signal level is not a major factor, the automatic measurement function will enable the instrument to select the appropriate test signal and set the measurement range.
