Online transaction security tips:

Characteristics of network fraud
Anti fraud strategies for online transactions of auto parts and auto supplies:

In the process of online transaction of auto parts and auto supplies, it is often heard that some customer friends report that they have been cheated in buying accessories online. They have paid the merchant and never received the goods. Then they can't contact the other party. Nowadays, there are a lot of cheats. Many cheats will create a website, rank it on the home page of the search engine by technical means, and then use some deceptive means to provide a non-existent store address, Photoshop forged business license and so on to gain trust, which makes it impossible for everyone to prevent. After reporting a low price to attract customers to trade, people evaporate after collecting money, and then continue to repeat this trick on another website.
We have summarized some fraud prevention strategies based on the cases, so that customers and friends can be more careful in case of these situations in the future, so as not to lose money or even resist online purchase of accessories, which will increase the purchase cost and work difficulty.
1、 Confirm the filing number of the website
Buyer friends confirm that when purchasing accessories on a website, the official website will have a MIIT filing number at the bottom of the website, for example: Yue ICP Bei 1206XXXX, and link to the MIIT website( http://www.miitbeian.gov.cn )。 According to the filing requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, all regular websites must indicate their website registration number at the bottom of the website and link to the certification website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China to pass the filing. Therefore, when we visit a website, we can first confirm whether the number is correct. Click the number to enter the "ICP" inquiry center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and we can find the corresponding information in the public inquiry of the website's filing number. Because these certifications are very strict, they can be applied only after the company's certificate is submitted. There is no fake, and complaints can be made even if problems occur, Find the responsible person.
2、 Whether the website provides fixed line telephone or contact information with detailed address
Many fraud websites only provide the contact information of mobile phone numbers. Although customers can get a quick response, if they are really cheated, they can buy mobile phone numbers anywhere on the street. The address is also a very vague address. For example, there is no specific store address or a false address in a certain auto parts city.
3、 Whether the website provides WeChat authentication service number
The WeChat public account provided by the website is a public service account certified by Tencent. The company's WeChat service account must be certified by the certification authority designated by Tencent to verify the business license, company account and other information. Therefore, if the website has a WeChat public service account with Tencent certification logo, the credibility will be much higher.
4、 Whether the website provides certified enterprise QQ
The website with enterprise QQ, like the authentication of WeChat service number, also needs the authentication of Tencent's certification authority to purchase enterprise QQ services, which has high credibility.
5、 The payment method should not be "payment before delivery"
No matter how reliable the website is, avoid many disputes in the transaction process, and let the seller make a good service commitment. In the face of unfamiliar sellers, your payment method must adhere to the principle that payment cannot be delivered. The following payment methods are recommended to be used with E-shop:
    (1) Alipay guarantee payment
With the guaranteed transaction function of Alipay, the payment for goods is kept by Alipay. After you receive the goods, you can confirm the payment, and then the payment for goods will reach the seller
    (2) Notice of delivery
After the goods are transported to the local logistics warehouse by the logistics company, the seller will be paid after the goods are confirmed, and the seller will notify the logistics company to allow picking up the goods after receiving the payment.
    (3) Cash on delivery (logistics collection)
After the goods are delivered to the local place by the logistics company, the buyer will pay the payment to the logistics company for collection, and then pick up the goods. The logistics company needs to charge a certain handling fee.
The first two methods do not need the logistics company to collect payment for goods, which can reduce the handling costs. These two methods are the most secure and cost saving for buyers

Characteristics of network fraud
The vast majority of "cyber fraud" has the following characteristics:
  1. Buyers or sellers in different places.
  2. It is required to pay the deposit in advance, and part of the payment for goods shall be remitted to an account in another place first.
  3. Don't let you see the goods first for various reasons, and don't want to meet you face to face.

Safe transaction tips

Here are some tips to help you with secure transactions:
  1. Learn as much as possible about products and sellers.

Know who you are dealing with by independently confirming the other party's name, detailed contact address and telephone number. Read the introduction carefully and ask questions. Deals that sound too good are usually not true. Indeed, the Internet can help you find lower prices, but you should still be alert to those transactions whose prices are too low to be reasonable.

  2. Do not click the email link that requires you to provide personal information. If you want to send your personal information to an unidentified individual or company (or a website claiming to be a company you know), you should be cautious.

  3. Understand the different payment and collection methods and the risks involved.

The payment method that provides fraud prevention protection measures may be your best choice.
If you accept the check payment, you should call the issuing bank and check whether the check is valid. The telephone number of the bank should be inquired from the telephone yellow page or a website you know and trust, not from the person who provides you with a check. If the payment is returned, stopped or cannot be received, you should contact the sender of the payment (credit card company, issuing bank, PayPal, etc.) to determine the way you can obtain relief.

  4. Take special precautions for remote buyers and sellers

Don't pay people you don't know or trust through "Western Union Remittance" or "Express Remittance" (because no matter how well the other party says, as long as you send a remittance, you will never receive it back).
Do not accept the buyer's request for overpayment, if the buyer requests to return the excess.
Some payment methods are slow to settle the account, and the goods can be delivered only after the payment is confirmed to be received (including waiting on the ticket until the check is completely settled).
Remember that some payment instruments (such as international bank checks) can still be returned after they are received and deposited in your account.
Keep in mind that most online payment websites saved by third parties and responsible for paying according to payment terms are fraudulent. If you do use it, make sure it is legal.

  5.

If you encounter problems, you can contact the law enforcement department in your area and the law enforcement department in the other party's residence. The network will fully cooperate with the law enforcement authorities in their investigation and evidence collection.
    Trick 1: payment fraud
The fraudster will send the Alipay link to request payment after the buyer has photographed the baby. The buyer will pay when he sees that the link is really on Alipay's official website. In fact, the buyer paid for the fraudster.
Taobao Reminder: When shopping on Taobao, you should select this order on the "Bought Baby" page to make payment.
Fraud II: Cash on delivery fraud
This newspaper has previously reported that buyers have experienced such scams. The fraudsters use transactions that cannot be verified at the time of receipt to induce buyers to pay on delivery of goods "offline", and buyers will suffer losses for not leaving transaction information.
Common scam 1: The buyer buys a low-cost mobile hard disk through Alipay transaction. The fraudster first operates the delivery, and then calls to inform (without leaving Alibaba Wangwang's voucher) that he accidentally mistakenly sends the goods for payment upon arrival, and asks the buyer to apply for a refund and directly pay to the express. After the buyer paid and received the goods, he found that the mobile hard disk was a fake "two bolts plus a USB disk", but the money had been sent directly to the express without Taobao.
Common scam 2: The buyer normally places an order for "payment on delivery" transaction, but the seller has not clicked on delivery and uploaded the order number for a long time. One day, the buyer received the package with cash on delivery, and there was no explanation on the express bill. Seeing that the goods were purchased by himself, he paid for the goods to the express. When opened, it was found to be a fake, but the merchant declared that he had never delivered any goods.
Common scam 3: The merchant does not have the "cash on delivery" service, nor does the store have the service logo, but requires to chat with the buyer on QQ, or directly explain on Alibaba Wangwang, and directly deliver goods without placing an order on Taobao. The buyer did not place any order on Taobao, paid for goods on delivery, and transacted offline. Later, it was found that the goods were fake.
Taobao reminds that the buyer should wait for the delivery information in the "confirmed order information" before signing for the goods. If you are cheated, you should contact the logistics company at the first time to try to intercept and retain the payment before the fraudster settles with the logistics company.
    Trick 3: Fake mail scam
Not long ago, Ms. Sun, a citizen, received an email from the sender named "Alipay", which said that there was a security risk in the account. She needed to reply and attach a copy of her ID card and the account book information to verify her identity, otherwise, the account would be frozen. She looked carefully and found that the sender's email address was service@mail.aliopoy.com , which is a few letters different from the official email suffix of Alipay, mail.alipay.com.
Taobao Reminder: In Alipay and Taobao's emails, the sender's address must end with alipay.com and taobao.com, and will not send emails to other addresses.
    Trick 4: credit fraud
The fraudster will publish information about part-time jobs in various forums and websites, claiming that it is easy to make money by helping people brush their reputation online at home. In fact, the swindler randomly sent a store treasure link (basically a virtual treasure) to the buyer, asked the buyer to take a picture, and said that the principal and commission would be refunded after confirmation. However, after the buyer took several pictures and paid for them, the principal and commission would not be received at all.
Taobao reminds that most of the part-time jobs with reputation are false information issued by fraudsters, and citizens should not believe it.
    Trick 5: False advertising
On the platform, cheats will publish advertisements for luxury goods, sports shoes, household goods and jewelry, and @ follow people, especially in the comments of some well-known people.
Taobao reminds: Before you see the advertisements for goods that differ greatly from the market price, you'd better understand the relevant common sense of thinking about goods, increase your discrimination, and not be tempted by low prices.
