The National Friendship Association of Taiwan Compatriots Investment Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as the National Taiwan Enterprise Confederation) is a joint non-profit social organization formed voluntarily by the associations of Taiwan compatriots investment enterprises approved to be established in the mainland of China. The purpose of the Association is to serve members and Taiwan funded enterprises, enhance the friendship among members and the contact between members and government departments, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of members, promote economic exchanges and cooperation across the Straits, and promote the peaceful development of cross Straits relations. The Association accepts the operational guidance, supervision and management of the competent business unit, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the registration and management organ of associations.

　　 Founded in April 2007, the All China Federation of Taiwan Enterprises is the only legal national organization of Taiwan businessmen. Its purpose is to serve its members and Taiwan funded enterprises, promote economic exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Straits, and promote the peaceful development of cross Straits relations. After 12 years of growth, there are 291 members, including 144 members of Taiwan Association, and 160 representatives of large enterprises and enterprise members. At present, the National Taiwan Enterprise Confederation has 11 large areas and 13 functional committees.

　　 In 2017, the National Taiwan Enterprise Confederation ushered in its 10th birthday and held a celebration of its 10th anniversary in the Great Hall of the People. General Secretary Xi Jinping sent a special congratulatory letter. President Yu Zhengsheng met all the representatives present and delivered an important speech. Leaders of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the People's Republic of China and the ARATS participated in the celebration all the way; In 2019, the Great Hall of the People of the National Taiwan Enterprise Confederation successfully completed the transition of the fourth and fifth sessions. Wang Yang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, received all the delegates and delivered an important speech.
