As Yingbin Road in Laixi, Qingdao, Beijing Road is not only a main road, but also a landscape road and ecological road. Since this year, Laixi has improved the landscape of Beijing Road. The project starts from Guhe Avenue in the west and ends at Laixi East Toll Station of Longqing Expressway in the east, with a total length of about 10.5 kilometers. The construction of Phase I mainly includes greening, tree lined runways, cultural corridors, public toilets, pocket parks, etc.
"The comprehensive renovation project of Beijing Road follows the principle of conservation priority and rational utilization, connects the existing resources, creates four famous parks of spring water, summer mountain, autumn forest and winter snow, Laixi culture and 24 solar terms culture punch points, as well as a 72 day cultural tour and research line, and creates a unique brand of ancient charm of Laicheng to meet the needs of citizens for leisure, fitness, entertainment, etc." Hu Anle, project manager of Beijing Road Comprehensive Renovation Phase I Project, said: "At present, 80% of the construction progress of Phase I has been completed, and it is expected to be completed by the end of the year."
