On February 22, the All China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) released the "Chinese Female Model Workers", the first monograph focusing on female model workers in China, at the Women's Model Workers' Symposium to celebrate the "March 8" International Women's Day.
Chinese female model workers are outstanding representatives of working women in the working class. The first use of the term "model workers" was awarded "model workers". From Ruijin to Yan'an, from the Liberated Areas to the New China, from reform and opening up to the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, in the historical process of revolution, construction and reform, Chinese female model workers have always been working with the Party, working hard with the spirit of "women are not inferior to men", and driving the majority of female workers to play the role of "half the sky" with self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement ". Especially in the new era, a large number of female model workers have emerged in all walks of life. They have integrated their personal ideals and family happiness into the great cause of national prosperity, national rejuvenation, and people's happiness. They have become builders of great cause, advocates of civilization, and dare to pursue dreams. They have contributed women's wisdom and strength to the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation.
The monograph of "Chinese Female Model Worker" is about 750000 words in total, which was compiled by 35 provincial trade unions and experts organized by the Women's Workers' Department of the All China Federation in a year and a half. The whole book consists of the main report and 35 sub reports, which comprehensively shows the glorious history and valuable experience of Chinese female model workers in the past century. At the same time, 79 female model labor cases were selected and audio stories were formed for learning and sharing.
The relevant person in charge of the Women's Workers' Department of the General Assembly said that studying and combing the development history of female model workers, summarizing and analyzing the growth law and spiritual connotation of female model workers will help better review the past struggle process, better understand and carry forward the spirit of model workers, labor spirit and craftsmanship, and better give play to the exemplary role of female model workers in the new era, Encourage women workers to continue their struggle and make contributions.
