On May 19, the half marathon of the 2024 National Staff Marathon Series held by the All China Federation of Trade Unions started in Rizhao. The Trade Union Committee of the District Marathon Association actively mobilized the marathon enthusiasts of the trade union members of the whole district to sign up. Nearly 100 employees who have passed the registration and review have participated in and completed the event. Due to its outstanding performance, Chengyang District Federation of Trade Unions won the "Excellent Organization Award" of this event.
In recent years, the Chengyang District Federation of Trade Unions has actively explored a variety of ways to most extensively contact various types of social organizations with distinctive characteristics at different levels, focusing on employee skills growth, safety and health, legal services, physical and mental health, marriage and family, culture and art and other service staff projects, to conduct all-round cultivation and guidance.
In 2022, the staff entertainment and fitness project of the Trade Union Committee of the District Marathon Association was rated as the excellent project of the municipal trade union to contact and guide social organizations to serve staff. In 2023, 11 social organizations of the Chengyang District Federation of Trade Unions were shortlisted for 61 social organization promotion projects in the city, and several projects were promoted in the city's trade union system.
In the future, the District Federation of Trade Unions will coordinate and integrate resources so that all promotion projects can be fully implemented and bear fruit. It will continue to lead the sound development of social organizations in the labor field in the region, and promote more social forces to participate in service projects through the trade union platform; Conscientiously adhere to and strengthen the overall leadership of the Party, implement the Party's policies and propositions into the work of trade unions to guide social organizations, better unite and guide social organizations in the labor field and the broad masses of workers to consciously listen to and follow the Party, and ensure the healthy and orderly development of social organizations in the labor field; Put the banner of serving workers and safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests on the shoulders of trade unions, hold the position and leading power of serving workers in the hands of trade unions, and assume the responsibility of maintaining political security in the labor field.
