On the morning of April 12, a series of reading activities for workers in Chengyang District sponsored by the Chengyang District Federation of Trade Unions and organized by the District Workers' Cultural Palace, namely, "The Book Runs Chengyang and the Vocal Songs of Classics", was successfully held in Xiazhuang Street. A total of 26 workers participated in the activity.
This activity is open to the in-service staff of Xiazhuang subdistrict organs, enterprises and public institutions. Five teachers, including the national first-class broadcaster and Li Shuhe, vice chairman of Chengyang District Recitation Association, are invited as on-site judges to select two first prizes, four second prizes and six third prizes. At the event site, there were a variety of subjects in the entries, and the contestants read in a variety of ways. New reading works such as "Grandma's Star" and "One Person Must Be Like a Team" emerged. At the same time, there were also excellent works such as "Beginnings" combined with post work, and "May 4th Praise" extolling the spirit of the May 4th Movement.
