The structural components of cast iron gate usually include door frame, door plate, guide rail, lifting lug, water seal device and other components. What parts do these components refer to in the gate? The following is a detailed description of Puyang Water Conservancy in the form of pictures and texts. (The following part is taken from the Anhui local standard DB 34/T 3589-2020).

1、 Door panel

Plate rib structure composed of panel and beam grid. The panel can also be called as the water retaining plate. The beam grid is commonly referred to as the "cross" shaped reinforcing rib, or the reinforcing rib. For steel gates, the word "beam grid" is often used, and in northern areas, the word "reinforcing rib" is often used.

2、 Door frame and guide rail

Grooved guide body of door panel. The main function is to realize the up and down movement of the door plate (that is, the water retaining plate) on the predetermined track, while transmitting the water pressure to the concrete structure

3、 Water sealing device

The waterstop sealing surface is directly formed by the contact surface of the door panel and the door frame, or is formed by the strip sealing body and the waterstop seat surface embedded in the corresponding position of the door panel and the door frame to prevent leakage.

4、 Cross yoke

It should be noted that this kind of gate is a machine gate integrated gate, which can also be called a beam. If it is not an integrated structure of the gate, the concrete structure is often used as the hoist lifting platform.

5、 Rising mast structure

The gate opening and closing operating parts adopt the structural type of synchronous lifting of the lifting screw and the door plate. In short, the screw is connected with the gate lifting lug, and the vertical (up and down) movement of the screw drives the door plate to move up and down, thus realizing the gate opening and closing.

6、 Concealed pole structure

The gate opening and closing operating parts adopt the structural type of the lifting block nut on the door plate moving along the axial direction of the screw. In this structural form, the lifting screw does not move up and down, but only rotates. The lifting lug of the gate is in the form of a lifting block nut. The screw passes through the lifting block nut. The image point is that the gate hoist is similar to screwing the screw. The screw rotates in one direction, the lifting block nut rises along the screw with a water baffle to open the gate, and the screw rotates in another direction, The lifting block nut moves downward with the door panel.

Note: The lock block in the figure is used to temporarily fix the water baffle to prevent it from being scratched out during transportation. It needs to be removed after installation.
