The 26 year old Alex Garcia comes from Villarreal's youth training system. He has also played for Manchester City, Royal Muskelon Elite, Dinamo Bucharest and Ivar since his career. This season, Alex Garcia has made 40 appearances on behalf of Jerona, 37 of which were the first team, scoring 3 goals and 6 assists.
Now, according to Pretenberg, Leverkusen has reached an oral agreement with Alex Garcia. They have planned to provide the Spanish international with a long-term contract. At present, Leverkusen and Jerona have also conducted in-depth negotiations. The transfer fee discussed by both parties is between 15 million and 20 million euros.
The report further said that Alex Garcia wanted to join Leverkusen and take part in the Champions League under Xabi Alonso.
