The Daily Telegraph reported that Wayne Rooney may take over the Championship team Plymouth.
It is reported that Rooney has accepted an interview at Plymouth this week, and he is regarded as a candidate target. Rooney was dismissed from Birmingham in January this year due to poor performance (he has suffered 9 consecutive defeats in 15 coaching games), and he hopes to return to the post of coach.
Plymouth is looking for a new head coach. If Rooney takes the post, he will reunite with Neil Dusnip, who is currently the director of Plymouth football. The latter once worked at Everton Youth Academy and trained Rooney, Ross Buckley, Leon Osman and others.
