Manchester City officially announced that the 38 year old Scott Carson, the third goalkeeper of the team, was officially renewed until June 2025.
Carson started his career at Leeds United and has played for Liverpool, Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, Aston Villa, West Brom, Bursa Sports, Wigan Athletics and Derby County since his career. In the summer of 2019, he moved to Manchester City and has played since then.
Although he has only played two official games since joining Manchester City, and the last time he played was three years ago, Carson has still obtained the contract extension provided by Manchester City. Both parties have extended the original contract that expired in June this year to 2025.
In his career, Carson also played for the England team four times.
