Tibet report

Recently, netizens in the Tibet Autonomous Region reported that someone pretended to be a "staff member of the Social Work Office of the Tibetan Civil Affairs Department", called them to promote the "Wandering and Begging Manual" through the No. 192 section number, and asked the county (district) civil affairs bureaus to subscribe to this manual. In response, the Tibet Autonomous Region Cyberspace Office and the Department of Civil Affairs of the Tibet Autonomous Region responded as follows ↓↓↓

Recently, netizens in our district reported that someone pretended to be a "staff member of the Social Work Office of the Tibetan Civil Affairs Department", called them to promote the "Wandering and Begging Manual" through the No. 192 section number, and asked the county (district) civil affairs bureaus to subscribe to this manual.

Upon verification, the information is false. The Department of Civil Affairs of the Autonomous Region has never arranged staff or entrusted others to sell books or engage in such activities in any form, nor has it ever asked the county (district) civil affairs bureaus to subscribe to this manual. In case of similar circumstances, you can call the Department of Civil Affairs of the Autonomous Region for verification (0891-6826925).

Tibet reports a warm reminder that it is fraudulent to pretend to be a staff member of the Civil Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region to sell books. Local (municipal) civil affairs bureaus should timely remind the civil affairs departments under their jurisdiction to be vigilant and beware of being cheated. If similar situations are found, please report to the Department of Civil Affairs of the Autonomous Region immediately and provide clues to the public security department.

The Department of Civil Affairs of the Tibet Autonomous Region will reserve the right to investigate legal responsibilities according to law.
