In order to effectively purify the network environment, Huizhou Boluo Public Security Bureau continued to intensify its efforts to crack down on online rumors, and investigated and dealt with the illegal acts of online rumors. Recently, Boluo County Public Security Bureau successfully disposed of a case of online rumors of "lying about danger".

On April 27, Boluo Public Security Bureau found that an Internet user posted an article on a platform, saying that "Boluo County was hit by a rare natural disaster - hail tornado". "The disaster caused 3 deaths and 142 injuries, including 12 serious injuries".

After verification by the public security organ, the netizen said it was a rumor, and then he was summoned to the public security organ according to law. After interrogation, Huang Mouhong, a netizen, generated the post through an AI software in order to attract attention, and released it through a platform without verification. His behavior was suspected of spreading rumors and lying about dangerous situations, which could easily cause public panic and anxiety and seriously disrupt the public network order. Boluo Public Security Bureau imposed administrative punishment on Huang Mouhong according to law and ordered him to delete relevant rumors.

   Boluo Public Security:

The Internet is not illegal. The public security organ will investigate and deal with the behavior of fabricating and spreading online rumors at will. It is hoped that netizens can keep rational thinking, enhance their awareness of the rule of law, resolutely resist online rumors, consciously restrain their own behavior, and jointly create a clear cyberspace!
