Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Internet Information Office and other relevant departments exposed eight typical cases of online violations

Recently, the Internet Information Office of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the Public Security Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, according to the clues of Internet users, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Cybersecurity, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Administration Penalties, the Regulations on Ecological Governance of Network Information Content, the Administrative Measures for Internet Religious Information Services and other laws and regulations, We will seriously investigate and deal with a number of online violations. Some typical cases are reported as follows.

   Case 1 Internet users report that the online account "Shu *" spreads illegal information on the Internet that contains content such as inciting national hatred and advocating ethnic division. After verification, the Cyber Information Department ordered the relevant website platform to close the online account in accordance with the Cyber Security Law of the People's Republic of China, the Regulations on the Ecological Governance of Network Information Content and other laws and regulations.

   Case II : Internet users report that the mobile application "iM * * * h" publishes illegal Internet religious information to induce minors to believe in religion. After verification, the Internet Information Department ordered the relevant website platform to remove the mobile application according to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Network Security, the Administrative Measures for Internet Religious Information Services and other laws and regulations.

   Case 3 : netizens reported that in order to attract attention, a netizen in Korla, Bazhou, surnamed Zheng, fabricated scripts, forged scenes, posed photos and fakes, misled the public, triggered greater public opinion, and caused adverse social impact. After verification, the public security organ imposed an administrative penalty on Mr. Zheng in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalties for Public Security.

   Case 4 : netizens reported that Yang, a netizen in Wensu County, Aksu Prefecture, selected irrelevant people and pieced together pictures to link the earthquake site, misleading the public. After verification, the public security organ imposed an administrative penalty on Yang according to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Management Penalties, the Regulations on Ecological Governance of Network Information Content and other laws and regulations.

   Case V : It was found that an environmental protection technology company in Urumqi failed to strictly fulfill its obligations of network security protection, and its responsibility for network security protection was not fully implemented, resulting in its website being tampered with as a gambling website. After verification, the Cyber Information Department interviewed the legal representative of the company in accordance with the Cyber Security Law of the People's Republic of China and ordered it to correct within a time limit.

   Case 6 : It was found that a water conservancy project and a commercial concrete company in Kezhou failed to strictly fulfill their obligations of network security protection, resulting in the corresponding host being controlled by Trojan programs, and there were security risks such as information leakage. After verification, the network information department ordered relevant companies to correct within a time limit in accordance with the Network Security Law of the People's Republic of China.

   Case 7 : Netizens reported that Hamou, a netizen in Altay, Altay, published rumors on the network platform, causing adverse social impact. It is verified that the public security organ, in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalties for Public Security, imposed administrative detention on Mr. Ha for 15 days.

   Case 8 : netizens reported that Urumqi netizens Tan and Wang had published rumors on the network platform, causing adverse social impact. After verification, the public security organ imposed an administrative fine of 500 yuan on Mr. Tan and Mr. Wang in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalties for Public Security.

The Internet information department and the public security organ remind that the Internet is not a place outside the law. The majority of netizens should surf the Internet in accordance with the law and in a civilized manner, so as to jointly create a good cyberspace ecology.
