Hello， My name is Thomas, from South Korea, and my Korean name is Hyun Yu. After two years of military service in South Korea, I set myself a "small goal" to be fluent in both Chinese and English.

A Korean friend who has lived in China for a long time strongly recommended that he sign up for Pinghe English Village to "kill two birds with one stone". Before entering the university, I was most worried about the authenticity of the pure English environment, because in South Korea, it is almost impossible to require everyone in a school to speak English.

After arriving at GLV, I was shocked that there really is a school where all people can speak English! From the headmaster to the staff of the cleaning aunt's canteen, everyone abides by the rules of all English communication! This made me feel relaxed when I couldn't speak Chinese at all. This is the English training institution I have been looking for!

Although I can't understand a word of Chinese, everyone in Pinghe English Village is willing to help me from abroad. The pure English, closed and immersive English learning environment here makes me feel more comfortable.

Every teacher here is so kind. The way of imparting knowledge is no longer rigid and rigid indoctrination. It is very easy to get along with teachers. There is no limit to hierarchical relations. Teachers can also get along as friends, which is unimaginable in South Korea!

The friendship gained here has broken away from barriers and crossed national boundaries. Immersed in a pure English environment for a long time, without interference from other languages, the daily progress is obvious. It's a wonderful experience to express your feelings in English fluently.

I will return to China to study again in September this year. At present, I have applied to Shandong University to study international trade.
