Location of administrative district
Huzhou is located in the center of the Yangtze River Delta and the northernmost part of Zhejiang Province. It is adjacent to Jiaxing and Suzhou in the east, Hangzhou in the south, Xuancheng in the west, Wuxi in the north, and Taihu Lake in the northeast. The total land area is 5820 square kilometers.

Huzhou has jurisdiction over Wuxing and Nanxun districts and Deqing, Changxing and Anji counties.
