In order to accelerate the promotion of electronic authentication SM2 certificate application services and ensure the security of password use of electronic authentication services, the Commercial Password Management Office of the State Encryption Administration, based on the thorough statistics of the application of CA certificate services operated by third parties nationwide, targeted at the security risks of password use, from October 2016 to January 2017, Conduct on-site supervision on the password use of 41 third-party operating CAs nationwide, require third-party operating CAs to develop SM2 certificate service application plans and measures, clarify the SM2 certificate service application schedule and roadmap, accelerate the promotion of SM2 certificate service application, and ensure user information security.
