5. On the basis of the basic requirements of the reexamination in each discipline, the examinees of the work units who are in the ethnic autonomous areas announced by the State Council, namely, 5 autonomous regions, 30 autonomous prefectures, 119 autonomous counties (banners), and who apply for the examination of ethnic minority in-service personnel trained by the original unit or entrusted by the original unit, may have 5 points lower in a single subject and 10 points lower in the total score.

6. The new graduates of ordinary colleges and universities who have been recruited for compulsory military service and retired from military service will participate in the national postgraduate entrance examination within three years and enjoy the policy of adding 10 points to the total score of the preliminary examination and giving priority to admission under the same conditions.
