In order to ensure the enrollment quality and smooth enrollment of our master's students, this brief chapter is formulated in accordance with the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Higher Education Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws and regulations, and in accordance with the Teaching Letter [2020] No. 8 of the National Regulations on Enrollment of Master's Students in 2021.
 
Shanghai International Studies University, founded in December 1949, is the first foreign language institution of higher learning set up after the founding of New China, one of the birthplaces of foreign language education in New China, and a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly built with Shanghai to enter the national "211 Project" and "double first-class" construction.

3、 Application conditions
(1) The applicants for the national postgraduate entrance examination must meet the following conditions: 1. Citizens of the People's Republic of China.
2. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have good moral character, and abide by discipline and law.
3. The physical condition meets the physical examination requirements of the state and our school.
4. The academic level of candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
(1) Newly graduated undergraduates with nationally recognized academic qualifications (including graduates from regular colleges and universities, adult colleges and universities, and adult higher education held by regular colleges and universities), as well as self-taught examinations and online education can graduate undergraduates at that time. Before September 1 of the year when candidates are admitted, they must obtain a nationally recognized undergraduate diploma or the Certificate of Foreign Academic Degrees issued by the Overseas Study Service Center of the Ministry of Education, or their admission qualification will be invalid.
(2) A person with a bachelor's degree recognized by the state.

(2) Those who register for the national postgraduate entrance examination for the following professional degrees shall be subject to the following provisions:

(2) Before applying for the exam, the major studied is non law major (graduates of law major [code 0301] in the undergraduate specialty catalogue of ordinary colleges and universities, graduates of law at the junior college level and graduates of law in the form of self-study exam are not allowed to apply for the exam).
2. Those who apply for the postgraduate entrance examination for the degree of law (law) must meet the following conditions:

3. Those who apply for the entrance examination for master's degree candidates in business administration (MBA) must meet the following conditions:
(1) Meet the requirements of items 1, 2 and 3 in (I).
(2) Personnel with more than 3 years of work experience after graduation from a university; Or those who have obtained a national recognized diploma from a higher vocational college or a university undergraduate course, meet the relevant academic requirements of the enrollment unit, have the same academic qualifications as those of a university undergraduate course and have more than 5 years of work experience; Or those who have more than 2 years of work experience after obtaining a master's or doctoral degree.
The relevant examination and enrollment policies for postgraduates of master of business administration are also implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Further Regulating the Education of Postgraduates of Master of Business Administration (Jiao Yan [2016] No. 2).

Promoted and exempted students (including "postgraduate education support group") selected and confirmed by undergraduate graduation schools (colleges and universities with qualifications to carry out promotion and exemption work) must log in the "National Information Disclosure and Management Service System for Recommending Outstanding Undergraduate Graduates to Study for Graduate Students without Examination" (website: http://yz.chsi.com.cn/tm )Fill in the application form and participate in the second interview. As of the specified date, the promoted students who have not yet fulfilled the requirements of the receiving unit will no longer retain the qualification for promotion. Those who have been accepted by the enrollment unit shall not apply for admission to the postgraduate examination of the same year, otherwise their qualification for admission will be cancelled.
 
The recommendation and acceptance methods of recommended students shall be formulated and announced by the recommending school and our school according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education. All promoted students have the right to choose their own enrollment units and majors according to the enrollment policy. All promoted places (except for special plans with special policy requirements) can be recommended to other enrollment units.
 
In addition to business administration (MBA), other academic majors and full-time professional master's degrees in our school can accept promoted and exempted students.

(2) Online confirmation (on-site confirmation) requirements
1. All examinees (excluding those who are exempted from promotion) should check and confirm their online registration information at the designated place within the specified time. The time of online confirmation (on-site confirmation) shall be determined and announced by each provincial education enrollment and examination management agency according to the national enrollment work arrangement and the local application organization.
Candidates with the same academic qualifications (graduates of higher vocational colleges and undergraduates) must come to our school for qualification examination on October 30, and can only go through online confirmation (on-site confirmation) and payment procedures after passing the examination. If the examination is not allowed after online confirmation (on-site confirmation) due to non qualification review, the examinees with the same academic qualifications shall bear the corresponding consequences.
Tip: The time of online confirmation (on-site confirmation) varies from province to province. The time of online confirmation (on-site confirmation) in each province is subject to the time published by each province. 5、 Examination qualification review
If the application information filled in by the examinee is inconsistent with the application conditions, the examination will not be allowed. 6、 Preliminary test
(1) Admission card

The Examination Permit shall be printed on A4 white paper, and the front and back sides shall not be altered or written during use. Two unit examination subjects are set for the preliminary examination of master's degree in accounting, library and information, business administration, public administration, tourism management, engineering management and auditing, namely, the comprehensive ability of the joint examination of foreign languages and management, with full scores of 100 and 200 respectively.
5. The third unit of business course I of the preliminary examination of master's degree in finance, applied statistics, taxation, international business, insurance, asset evaluation and other majors sets up the comprehensive ability examination subjects of economics, with a full score of 150 points.
The specific examination subjects shall be subject to the Catalogue of Postgraduate Enrollment Specialties in 2021 published by our university.
(5) Preliminary examination results
Our school is responsible for informing the examinees of their preliminary examination results. At that time, examinees can check their scores through the network. Please pay attention to our postgraduate enrollment information network (yz.shisu.edu.cn) in time for the specific method of score check. We will not send written transcripts. If the examinee needs a written transcript, he/she can apply for it free of charge at our graduate recruitment office within the specified time with his/her ID card.
If the examinee has any objection to the grading result, he/she can apply for score review according to the procedure. The specific review method shall be implemented according to the relevant examination documents of the Ministry of Education.
7、 Retest
(1) All candidates to be admitted will be reexamined, and those who fail the reexamination will not be admitted.
(2) The time, place, content scope, method, method and procedure of the reexamination will be announced by our school before the reexamination. 8、 Admission
