Sun Zhuo was born in November 1967. "Zijiang Distinguished Professor" of East China Normal University, tenured professor, doctoral supervisor, and academic leader of nanotechnology. In 2001, he was responsible for the establishment of the "Research Center for the Application of Nanofunctional Materials and Devices", and was the head of the innovation team of the school's "Micro nano Optoelectronic Materials and Devices". He has been engaged in the research and industrial application of nano optoelectronic film materials and devices and equipment systems for a long time, presided over more than ten key research and industrialization projects in the direction of nano optoelectronics and advanced equipment of the State, the Ministry of Education and Shanghai, and achieved good social and economic benefits. It has applied for more than 20 invention patents at home and abroad. More than 180 papers were published in international academic journals and conferences, including more than 100 papers in SCI and more than 50 in EI, which were cited for more than 400 times. Responsible for the construction of doctoral programs in condensed matter physics and nano physics, and actively carried out scientific research cooperation and academic exchange activities at home and abroad; Together with relevant units, it has established the "National Nanoengineering Application Research Center" and the "Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Research Center" (East China Normal University as the governing unit). At the same time, it has also successfully applied for the "Nanoelectronics Integration and Advanced Equipment Engineering Center of the Ministry of Education" (Sun Zhuo as the director of the center), making the school's nano discipline have an important impact at home and abroad. Sun Zhuo, as the executive chairman of the "Asia Display '07" international conference hosted by the International Society for Information Display (SID), and East China Normal University as the organizer, organized the first conference in China, which made our school have an important impact in the field of international information display. He is also the deputy director of Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Research Center and the director of Semiconductor Lighting (LED) Professional Committee of Shanghai Optoelectronics Association. In particular, in recent years, a series of original scientific research achievements have been made in the field of nano optoelectronics, and the achievements have been transformed rapidly. The direct economic benefits have reached tens of millions of yuan, and the industrial scale driven by them has reached hundreds of millions of yuan.
