5、 Admission
Admission by ordinary recruitment:
1. Admission principle: Each college of our school will select the best candidates according to the examination results, comprehensive quality, physical health and other factors of the examinees, and in combination with the number of enrollment places of the college.
2. Admission category: Non directional and directional.
(1) Non targeted doctoral candidates: candidates must transfer their personnel files, salary relationships, etc. to East China University of Science and Technology, or they will be disqualified from admission. After graduation, candidates and employers will make two-way and independent choices.
(2) Targeted doctoral candidates: candidates will keep their personnel files, household registration, wage relations, etc. in the targeted unit. The targeted unit must sign an agreement with the Graduate School of East China University of Science and Technology. After graduation, candidates will be employed according to the requirements of the agreement. In principle, no dormitories will be arranged for doctoral students whose admission category is targeted (except for counterpart support and minority backbone program).
3. Precautions
(1) In principle, the number of in-service doctoral candidates enrolled by each college (that is, the enrollment category is targeted) should not exceed 5% of the total number of doctoral students enrolled by the college.
