Hohai University Baoyan Summer Camp 2019 Text

In order to enhance the communication among outstanding college students and let more outstanding college students know about the discipline strength, development trends, faculty, graduate education, etc. of Hohai University, our school has initially planned to hold the eighth National Excellent College Students Summer Camp on July 4-6, 2019.
During the summer camp, our school will organize academic lectures of well-known experts, zero distance exchanges with professors and teachers, visit the school and other activities, and conduct discipline assessment. As an important way to select graduate students who are recommended to be free of examinations in 2020, the National Excellent College Student Summer Camp is an important way to welcome students who are interested in applying for our graduate school. Specific majors (see Annex 1), training programs and tutors can be queried on the homepage of Hohai University Graduate School and the homepage of each college (department).
The application starts from the date of this notice. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1、 Application conditions
1. Have good ideological morality and political quality, observe discipline and laws, and be physically and mentally healthy;
2. Third year undergraduate students from high-level universities or full-time universities with characteristic majors (graduates of 2020);
3. Students of Hohai University, whose performance points of first-class disciplines are ranked in the top 30% of the majors, and other majors are ranked in the top 20% of the majors in principle;  
4. Have a strong interest in the academic research of the reported specialty and are willing to engage in academic research;
5. Meet the requirements of the school for recommended test free students and intend to study in Hohai University.
2、 Application procedure
1. This summer camp is declared online. Please log in to: Hehai University summer camp system（ http://yjs.hhu.edu.cn/hhu/xlyPage.action ）Fill in the relevant declaration information and ensure that the information is true and accurate. The application time is from 15:30, June 14, 2019 to 24:00, June 21, 2019 (all applications not filled in this application period are invalid).
2. The Graduate School of our school will determine the list of selected campers after reviewing the application information submitted by the applicants. The audit will be completed in early July. Please follow the notice on the Graduate School website and log in to the system in real time to check the audit status.
3、 Instructions
1. The time, place and activity arrangement of check-in will be notified separately.
2. The selected campers must carry the following application materials when registering:
1) One copy of "2019 National Excellent University Student Summer Camp Application Form" (Annex 2) (signed by the school and department and stamped with the official seal of the unit);
2) Two letters of recommendation (Annex 3) from experts with associate professor (or above) title or teachers and other experts;
3) One copy of the transcript of the first two and a half years, the total score and the ranking certificate (stamped by the educational administration department or the department);
4) One copy of academic or scientific research achievements and all kinds of award certificates;
5) One copy of certification material (copy) reflecting one's own English level, such as the scores of CET-4 and CET-6, or TOEFL scores, or GRE/IELTS/GMAT scores.
Note: Please bind the copies of the above materials in order in advance, submit them when checking in, and bring the original for future reference.
4、 Treatment of campers
1. Travel, board and lodging: Hohai University will provide the campers with board and lodging in Nanjing during the summer camp (accommodation and transportation of the University and local students in Nanjing will be provided by themselves), and subsidize certain transportation fees according to relevant policies.
2. Insurance: Hohai University will purchase personal accident insurance for campers in other schools during the camp.
5、 Evaluation
After the summer camp, our school will select excellent campers according to the application materials, performance during the camp and other comprehensive conditions, and publish them.
A certain preferential policy will be given to summer camp campers who are recommended to be exempt from the examination and the first volunteer to apply for our university's graduate education. See the camp campers' manual for details.
6、 Others
1. If the application materials are found to be false, the qualification of the applicant as a camper will be cancelled, and the right to trace back will be reserved;
2. The campers shall abide by the arrangements of the summer camp and participate in the activities on time. During the summer camp, the relevant rules and regulations of Hohai University and the requirements and disciplines of the summer camp must be observed.
