Discipline construction
Chongqing University has the advantage of electricity, architecture, civil engineering, machinery, instruments, materials, mining, computer, biomedicine and other related disciplines, among which architecture is the first eight schools to set up a first-class discipline of architecture in China, so it is called the "eight oldest schools of architecture" [44] Electrical engineering is known as the "Five Tigers of Electrical Engineering" because it is one of the five first level key disciplines in China.
