1、 Introduction to pre selection of 2023 promotion free students
The School of Pharmacy of Fudan University (formerly the School of Pharmacy of Shanghai Medical University), founded in 1936, is one of the most influential pharmaceutical colleges in China. The college focuses on the research of malignant tumors, diseases of the central nervous system, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, infectious diseases, etc., pays equal attention to basic research and application development, and has formed distinctive scientific research characteristics in drug target discovery, candidate compound design and optimization, pharmacodynamics and mechanism of action, preparation and delivery technology, and clinical rational drug use, with continuous improvement of innovation ability, Remarkable achievements have been made in the transformation of achievements.
In order to select outstanding undergraduate students who have a strong interest in pharmaceutical research and are interested in participating in cutting-edge pharmaceutical research as 2023 recommended postgraduate students or undergraduate direct doctoral students, the School of Pharmacy of Fudan University will hold a pre selection activity for 2023 recommended postgraduate students.


2、 Registration time

3、 Registration conditions
1. Undergraduate students majoring in pharmacy, chemistry, medicine, life science and related majors who will graduate in 2023;
2. Good conduct, excellent academic performance, ranking top in the first three years of undergraduate general evaluation (grade points), and being able to obtain the exemption qualification of the school;
3. Have strong interest in innovative research in pharmacy and related fields, work hard, have the courage to explore and innovate, and have team spirit and independent thinking ability;
4. Good English, reaching CET-4 (550 points or above) or CET-6 (500 points or above), TOEFL score of 90 points or above (including 90 points) or IELTS score of 6.0 points or above. Those who have outstanding performance in scientific research can appropriately relax the conditions;
5. Seeking truth from facts, rigorous style of study, and abiding by academic ethics.
6. Students who have been rated as excellent campers of our summer camp do not need to register again.


4、 Application materials
1. Recent front bareheaded color ID photos in electronic JPG format, 150 × 200 pixels, and the size is within 500K;
2. Transcripts of previous years at the undergraduate level (must be affixed with the official seal of the Academic Affairs Office or the department) in JPG or PDF format;
3. Certificate of foreign language proficiency, such as CET-4, CET-6, IELTS, TOEFL, professional foreign language scores, etc;
4. Relevant award-winning certificates and academic research achievements, such as published papers, publications or other original work;
5. One personal statement (unlimited format);
6. Two letters of recommendation for the pre selection of experts of Fudan University's promoted and exempted students (only direct doctoral candidates need to submit in the system the recommendation opinions of two senior experts or experts with equivalent professional and technical positions in the subject and professional field other than the applicant supervisor).


5、 Registration method
1. Online registration
Log in to Fudan University's postgraduate enrollment website (www.gsao. fudan. edu.cn), and register online through the "recommended and exempted student forecasters" in the "postgraduate application service system". Each person can only fill in one application form. After the application information is filled in and confirmed to be correct, click "Confirm and Submit", and the information cannot be changed after submission.
2. Instructions for sending paper materials
The college does not need examinees to send paper materials. The applicant shall ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the information and materials submitted. If false information is provided, the application qualification and assessment results will be cancelled once verified.


6、 Enter the re examination result notice
Whether to enter the re examination results can be queried through our graduate application service system before September 22. The re examination list will be published on our hospital website before September 22.


7、 Arrangement of reexamination and assessment
The time of online interview and mock interview will be notified separately.


8、 Implementation Rules for Pre selection and Re examination
1. The college has set up (several) pre selection and re examination teams for students to be promoted and exempted, and selected personnel with strong sense of responsibility, rich teaching experience, and high academic and foreign language proficiency to participate in the re examination work. Each team member is generally not less than 5 people.
2. The reexamination assessment includes comprehensive knowledge and skills, foreign language proficiency, ideological and political quality and moral assessment. Specific requirements are as follows:
(1) Professional knowledge and skill assessment
The ability to apply professional knowledge to analyze and solve practical problems or experimental skills shall be assessed.
(2) Foreign language proficiency assessment
According to the Measures for the Implementation of the Oral English Test for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination of Fudan University, the test candidates' oral English mainly includes impromptu narration or description, professional question discussion, etc. The time is about 5 minutes for each candidate, which mainly tests the accuracy, coherence and appropriateness of the candidates' oral conversation.
(3) In addition to the assessment of professional knowledge and skills and foreign language proficiency, it is also necessary to strengthen the comprehensive assessment of the candidates' ideological and political quality and professional level, as well as the examination of the students' academic achievements, scientific research activities and work performance at the undergraduate stage, especially the examination of the candidates' innovation ability and scientific research potential, which will serve as one of the important bases for promoting the pre selection of students.
3. Affected by the epidemic situation, this year our school will launch the pre selection activity of free students mainly in online form. The time of online remote interview and mock interview will be notified separately. The interview time of each candidate is generally not less than 20 minutes, and the whole process is recorded and videotaped.
4. Among the reexamination results, 90% of them were professional knowledge interviews and 10% were foreign language interviews. Rank from high to low according to the total score. Those who fail to pass the evaluation can not be rated as pre selected candidates.
5. The results of the reexamination will be queried through the postgraduate application service system of Fudan University within 5 working days after the interview.
6. Other relevant requirements for pre selection of exempt students shall be implemented in accordance with the Measures of Fudan University for Reexamination and Admission of Postgraduates in 2022.
The list of recommended students to be admitted is subject to the announcement on the school's research and recruitment website.
7. Applicants who have passed the pre reexamination assessment in the pre selection activities of the promoted students, if they have obtained the qualification of recommended exemption and applied for the promoted graduate students of our university, should also register through the "National Promotion Service System" of the Ministry of Education and fill in the application, and complete the enrollment process according to the work procedures.


9、 Pre selection, re examination and enrollment
The number of pre reexamination personnel shall be subject to the registration situation, and shall be appropriately adjusted according to the registration situation. Please refer to the enrollment plan published by the university for details of the enrollment quota of the promoted free students. The proposed enrollment list is subject to the publicity on the university's research and recruitment website.
