Academic nature ： The Association is a mass academic group jointly founded by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics, Renmin University of China, Capital University of Economics and Trade and other units to study statistical science. Purpose of the Institute ： Guided by Marxism Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, we will unite experts, scholars and statisticians from all walks of life to carry out research on statistical theory and practice, improve the level of statistical research and application, and serve the capital's economic construction and reform and opening up.
scope of business ： ( basic task )
(1) Actively carry out statistical scientific research academic activities, and hold academic seminars and statistical science seminars.
(2) Organize, guide and promote members to actively participate in various forms of statistical academic and exchange activities.
(3) Independently or assist relevant departments to carry out statistical training, consultation, information exchange, special research and other activities.
(4) Commend individuals who have made important contributions to statistical science.
(5) Participate in international and domestic academic exchange activities, research and introduce the latest achievements of international statistical science.

(7) Editing, publishing and distribution << Beijing Statistics >> Professional publications, organize the compilation, translation and recommendation of statistical books and periodicals.
