Journal of Shandong University (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition) held a high-end forum on "Party leadership and Chinese style modernization"

In order to deeply study and explain the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and explore the core connotation, realization path and significance of Chinese style modernization, on November 25, the editorial department of Journal of Shandong University (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition) held a high-end forum on "Party leadership and Chinese style modernization" online. More than 300 people from universities, research institutes and other units listened to the forum online.

Xing Zhanjun, assistant president of Shandong University and executive deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Qingdao Campus, attended the opening ceremony and said in his speech that he would further improve the interpretation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China through this forum discussion, and also hoped that the journal would take this opportunity to continue to improve the quality of the journal. The forum was hosted by Wei Jian, president of Shandong University Humanities and Social Sciences Journal and chief editor of Shandong University Journal (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition).

At the stage of the keynote report, more than ten experts and scholars from the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (National School of Administration), the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Shandong University, Beijing Normal University, South China Normal University, Shandong Normal University and other universities and research institutes discussed in detail from different perspectives on "Party leadership and Chinese modernization".

Han Qingxiang, a first class professor of the Marxism Institute of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National School of Administration) and an expert led by the expert studio of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a report entitled "The Chinese style modernization of the 'power logic'", and elaborated the modern power logic from "the world loses me" to "the world has me" and then to "the world to me"; Wang Binglin, a professor of the Institute of CPC History and Party Construction of Beijing Normal University and the Institute of Marxism, analyzed the significance of the great spirit of party building to the realization of Chinese style modernization; Yang Fengcheng, professor of the Marxism School of Renmin University of China and researcher of the CPC History and Party Construction Research Institute, explained the world value of Chinese style modernization from the perspective of history and comparison; Wang Lisheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Philosophy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Dean of the School of Philosophy of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, emphasized that the leadership of the Communist Party of China is the greatest advantage of Chinese modernization from the dimensions of strategic direction, goals, planning, social mobilization and integration; Shang Zhixiao, professor of Marxism College of Shandong Normal University and president of Shandong Institute of Contemporary Marxism, further clarified the historical responsibility of Chinese style modernization on the basis of reviewing the history of modernization development; Liu Jianjun, a professor of the School of Marxism at Renmin University of China, analyzed in detail the fundamental significance of Marxism in Chinese modernization; Guo Qiang, Deputy Director of the Scientific Socialism Teaching and Research Department of the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China (National School of Administration) and Chief Editor of Scientific Socialism, used historical materialism to analyze the internal logic of the CPC's leadership and promoting the process of Chinese style modernization.

Chen Jinlong, Dean of the College of Marxism of South China Normal University, believes that forming the basic theoretical framework of Chinese style modernization is an important theoretical contribution of the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China; Wang Shaoxing, Distinguished Professor of Shandong University, Distinguished Researcher of the National Party Construction Research Association, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Scientific Socialism, and Executive Director of the Chinese Political Society, emphasized the key role of party governance in building socialist modernization; Hu Angang, president of the Institute of National Conditions of Tsinghua University, chief expert of the Institute of National Governance and Global Governance, and professor of the School of Public Management, highlighted the development trend of Chinese modernization; Zhao Shumei, vice president of the Marxism School of Renmin University of China, analyzed the logic of promoting Chinese modernization from the perspective of serving the people; Huang Sujian, a researcher of the Industrial Economics Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and president of the China Enterprise Management Research Association, proposed to promote Chinese style modernization with high-quality development of state-owned enterprises; He Zhonghua, professor of the School of Philosophy and Social Development of Shandong University, discussed the outstanding advantages of the Chinese style modernization road from a historical perspective.

Wei Jian made a concluding speech at the closing ceremony and believed that the forum would enable participants to have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of Chinese style modernization, and a more accurate and clear understanding of the Party's leadership as the fundamental advantage of Chinese style modernization.
