Gaochun District Federation of Trade Unions is the leading organ of trade union organizations at all levels in Gaochun District, Nanjing City. It has 1025 subordinate grassroots trade union organizations, about 140000 trade union members, 9 town street and development zone federations, and 18 intermediate level trade unions.
Gaochun District Federation of Trade Unions has three functional departments: the Office, the Organization Publicity and Education Department and the Rights Protection Department. It has two subordinate institutions: the Employee Assistance Service Center and the Workers' Cultural Palace.
In recent years, under the leadership of the District Party Committee and the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Gaochun District Federation of Trade Unions has extensively carried out labor competitions and technological innovation activities around the "needs of the party and government, employees and enterprises", focused on improving the quality of employees, and mobilized and guided the entire district's employees to play a major role in economic and social construction. Organize and carry out legal publicity and legal aid, provide employment, medical care, children's schooling and other all-round assistance services for needy employees, and actively explore inclusive services for employees throughout the region.
