On June 13, 2024, Ambassador Zhou Qian to Georgia met with President of the Supreme Court of Georgia and Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Committee Katagize, and exchanged views on strengthening judicial exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Zhou said that since the establishment of the strategic partnership last year, the political mutual trust between China and Georgia has been constantly upgraded, and the results of practical cooperation have been constantly enriched. China has always regarded the rule of law as an inevitable requirement for the modernization of the national governance system and capacity. I am willing to work with you to tap the potential of judicial cooperation between the two countries and further enrich the connotation of China Georgia strategic partnership.
Karzai introduced to Ambassador Zhou the functions of the Supreme Court of Georgia and the composition of the judicial system, and expressed his appreciation for the achievements of China's judicial development, and was willing to actively strengthen exchanges and cooperation in relevant fields between the two countries.
