 Shu Chunguang's "Winter Charm"

Shu Chunguang is a painter who develops frontier fortress painting style. In his journey of art, he found that "non literati pen and ink" contained rich potential. Shu Chunguang once mentioned: "I used media materials in a casual manner and used various techniques without scruple, which made me feel free to express my feelings to the greatest extent." His frontier fortress paintings have various techniques and unique images, which are refreshing.

"Winter rhyme" is one of Shu Chunguang's representative works. The author creatively combines the "texture" with the traditional Chinese "texturing method" in order to show the ice covered cold ginseng of snow mountains, and creates the beauty of "non literati writing". The fine texture of the snow mountain in the upper part of the painting is in sharp contrast to the bold and bold lines in the lower part of the painting and the large geometric faces. The overall blue and black tone creates a quiet atmosphere, and the two sika deer add vitality to the picture. The whole work is unique, distinctive and refreshing. Shu Chunguang's exploration has opened up a new realm of Chinese landscape painting with a new artistic perspective and new artistic expression.
