"China Kunqu Opera Troupe Alliance Performance Base" and "Kunshan Student Base of Shanghai Drama Academy Affiliated Drama School" settled in Bacheng
On October 18, the three-day "Kunqu Town · Daya Bacheng" - 2018 Kunshan Bacheng · Chongyang Opera Festival ended successfully. More than 50 Kunqu scholars, Kunqu performing artists from all over the country, as well as nearly 100 Kunqu lovers from major Kunqu troupes, participated in the event, which represented the grand occasion of the "Yushan Gathering". This is another grand event of Kunqu Opera in the birthplace of Kunqu Opera after the opening of the 7th China Kunqu Opera Festival in Kunqu on October 13.

On the 17th, the "Yaju Chongyang · Shixiaomeixiang" - Xiaomeihua Opera Troupe Teaching Achievement Exhibition and Inheritance and Development Forum was held in Shipai Primary School. From the 17th to the 18th, Kunqu masters and fans from home and abroad gathered together to sing songs and pass on their skills, representing the grand gathering of Kunqu Opera in history. In the old streets of Bacheng, the historical and cultural exhibition center of Bacheng, Yu Jiulin's studio, and Yang Shousong's studio, the music sounds melodious and bel canto echoes, and the music friends are intoxicated with Kunqu in singing, reciting, and doing. "This authentic form of music meeting enables music friends to have a deeper understanding of Kunqu Opera in the process of clapping and harmonizing." Kunqu Opera, whose surname is Kun, originated in Bacheng, where the "ancestor of all kinds of operas" completed the magnificent evolution of "Kunshan Tune - Kunshan Tune - Shuimo Tune - Kunqu Opera - Kunqu Opera". Since 2015, Bacheng has successfully held the Chongyang Opera Festival during the Double Ninth Festival for three consecutive years. It has promoted the town with culture, met friends with music, explored the origin of Kunqu, discussed the culture of Kunqu, and made the "Kunqu Town" famous. Tian Qing, president of the China Kunqu Opera Guqin Research Association, said that Kunqu Opera is one of the ancient operas in China and has profound historical and cultural value. The rescue and protection of Kunqu Opera is a systematic project involving the spread of Chinese treasures, and there is a long way to go. More people should have the opportunity to enjoy Kunqu, and see the infinite hope of Kunqu from the development of Chongyang Quhui and Bacheng "Little Kunqu Troupe".
