Hundreds of experts and thousands of art appreciation lectures launched in Kunming

Recently, Professor Chen Daoyi of Suzhou University came to Kunshan Cultural Museum to explain to the audience the "credit" role of Chinese seals in social life and the artistic function of collection and appreciation. The lecture also kicked off the curtain of "a thousand lectures on appreciation of literature and art by a hundred experts and scholars".

It is understood that "One Hundred Experts and Scholars, One Thousand Lectures on Literature and Art Appreciation" is sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee. The lecture activity is aimed at literature, drama, music, dance, art, calligraphy, photography, film and television, folk arts and other forms of literature and art. 100 experts and scholars from relevant universities and literary and art groups in the province are invited to collect 100 topics in 100 counties (cities, districts) of the province 1000 special lectures on literature and art appreciation were held to enrich people's literature and art knowledge and improve people's appreciation level through informative, ideological and interesting explanations and guidance. This activity is also part of the theme practice activity of "going deep into life and taking root in the people" in Jiangsu. On the one hand, it guides writers and artists to go deep into the grass-roots level to carry out cultural activities of "collecting, creating, sending and planting" for the benefit of the people. On the other hand, it carries out art appreciation lectures to raise people's level of appreciation and acceptance of culture and art, and achieve the combination of "sending down" and "raising up".

Part of the lecture activities undertaken by Kunshan Cultural Center will last until the end of November, covering handicrafts, folk songs, photography, garden buildings. Through knowledgeable, thoughtful and interesting explanations and guidance, we will further enrich the cultural knowledge of citizens and improve their appreciation level.
