About Publishing Announcement of Interim Measures for Environmental Protection Acceptance of Completed Construction Projects

       In order to implement the newly revised Regulations on the Administration of Environmental Protection of Construction Projects and standardize the procedures and standards for the construction unit to independently carry out environmental protection acceptance after the completion of construction projects, our Ministry has formulated the Interim Measures for Environmental Protection Acceptance of Construction Projects (hereinafter referred to as the Interim Measures, see the annex), which is hereby promulgated.

If the construction project needs supporting facilities for prevention and control of water, noise or solid waste pollution, the environmental protection department shall, according to law Facilities for prevention and control of noise or solid waste pollution shall be checked and accepted.

The Ministry of Environmental Protection will separately issue the Pollution Impact Category of the Technical Guidelines for Environmental Protection Acceptance of Completed Construction Projects involved in the Interim Measures. This announcement shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.
