2、 Research purpose
New materials are the cornerstone and guide of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. In recent years, Jiaxing has always adhered to the cornerstone of "manufacturing a strong city", vigorously cultivating and developing strategic emerging industries, such as the development of new material industries such as high-performance composite materials, chemical fiber new materials, carbon fiber composite materials, etc. The city's new material industry continues to expand, and its innovation ability continues to improve Breakthroughs have been made in blank areas, forming a good momentum of development, and the scale of industrial output value ranks in the forefront of the province. According to the "Twelfth Five Year Plan" for the Development of Jiaxing's Strategic Emerging Industries and the "Opinions on the Implementation of Jiaxing's Strategic Emerging Industry Multiplication Plan", we should continue to increase the introduction, training and use of entrepreneurial and innovative talents, and provide talent security and intellectual support for the development of new material industries. We will intensify training and promote the construction of new material management talent team, professional and technical talent team and highly skilled talent team. In order to promote the construction of talent team and knowledge update in the field of new materials, we hereby apply to set up Jiaxing High Research Class on New Materials and Their Environmental Protection Applications. Through research, study and discussion, our city's new materials and environmental protection professionals will further understand and become familiar with the development history, design principles, synthetic technology and environmental remediation applications of new materials, and adjust measures to local conditions, Scientifically and reasonably determine the R&D and application plan of new materials, and provide solid technical support for the high-quality development of new materials industry in our city.

Jiaxing New Materials and Their Environmental Protection Applications
The main speaker of this research: Zhu Lianwen, male, Doctor of Science, the first batch of top talents in Jiaxing, associate professor of Jiaxing University, and master's supervisor of Zhejiang Normal University. Graduated from Suzhou University in June 2013 with a doctor's degree in science; In 2018-2019, the country sent a public delegation to the Advanced Materials Research Institute of Florida State University in the United States to carry out visiting scholar research. Discipline direction: low dimensional nano functional materials and their environmental remediation applications, long-term commitment to the design, self-assembly and environmental remediation applications of low dimensional nano optical/electrical functional materials. Enrollment direction: research on controllable synthesis of carbon based electrocatalytic materials, research on photocatalysis separation membrane coupling water purification technology. Presided over two provincial scientific research projects, three provincial curriculum reform projects and one project of Jiaxing Science and Technology Bureau; He has published more than 30 SCI papers in internationally renowned journals, served as reviewer of well-known journals such as Journal of Materials Chemistry A and Chemical Communications, and was a member of Jiaxing's scientific and technological innovation team for "sewage purification and energy". Undertake the teaching tasks of Inorganic Chemistry, Charming Chemistry, Material Chemistry and other courses, and won the second prize of Jiaxing Natural Science Academic Award, the second prize of Zhejiang Province Teaching Achievement Award, the second prize of Zhejiang Province Excellent Case of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education, Zhejiang Province Excellent Micro course of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education, the top ten young teachers' lecture competitions, good teachers and excellent teachers in our school's mind, and other honors. Instructed the students to win the first prize of the provincial chemistry contest, the second prize of the provincial environmental protection creative design contest, and the honorary title of "Top Ten" pacesetter class.
Yan Zheng, PhD, associate professor, master's supervisor. Born in 1986, graduated from the School of Science of Shantou University in 2011 with a master's degree in inorganic chemistry (Supervisor: Professor Huang Xiaochun, Zhujiang Scholar). In June 2014, he graduated from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Sun Yat sen University, majoring in material physics and chemistry, with a doctor's degree (supervisor: Professor Tong Mingliang, Changjiang Scholar). He joined Jiaxing University in 2014 and conducted visiting scholar research at Manchester University in England from 2018 to 2019. In 2018, he was employed as an associate professor by Jiaxing University, and in 2019, he was selected into Jiaxing University's "Hundred Youth" Talent Training Plan. Research field: application exploration of stabilized MOFs matrix composites in energy storage and conversion; Crystalline porous materials are used in solid pore molecular recognition, efficient removal of water soil pollutants (heavy metals, organic pollutants and microorganisms), degradation of environmental pollutants and other fields; Research on catalysts related to clean energy (the field of photocatalysis includes water cracking reaction (HER and OER), oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), CO2 reduction, supercapacitor and solid electrolyte materials). He has presided over many provincial and ministerial level or above projects, such as the Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Youth Project of the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, and the General Project of the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. At Nat Commun., Sci China Chem., Applied Catalyst B: Environmental., Inorg. Chem., Inorg. Chem. Front., Catalog. Sci. Technol., Chem. Commun. and other internationally renowned journals published more than 20 research papers, and obtained one authorized invention patent. Six master students were instructed.
