College Introduction

Northeast University was founded in April 1923. General Zhang Xueliang, a famous patriotic general, once served as president. It is a university with a glorious patriotic tradition. The school is located in Shenyang, the largest central city in northeast China, with Hun River in the south and South Lake in the north. Today's Northeastern University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is one of the first universities approved by the State Council to grant bachelor's, master's and doctor's degrees. It is one of the first batch of key universities under the "211 Project" and "985 Project". In September 2017, it was approved by the State Council to enter the ranks of first-class universities.

In July 2000, Northeastern University was identified by the Ministry of Education as a pilot school for modern distance education in China. Introduction to Open Edutainment

Open Edutainment Center (Open Edutainment for short) is a distance education content service operation organization approved by the education department. Based on the self-developed OES teaching management platform and intelligent cloud education platform (OpenX integrated cloud learning platform), it provides digital learning opportunities and all-weather one-stop learning support services for people of different ages and occupations with flexible, convenient and personalized technical means.

Note: (1) The minimum study period of the senior high school students is 5 years, the maximum study period is 8 years, the minimum study period of other levels is 2.5 years, and the maximum study period is 5 years, that is, from the official registration time of the Ministry of Education (usually March 1 in spring and September 1 in autumn). Students who have completed the credits specified in the teaching plan of the corresponding level (159 credits for higher education, 87 credits for higher education, 83 credits for junior education) within the specified learning period can apply for graduation (excluding the time of certificate issuance). Students who have reached the longest learning period but still fail to meet the graduation conditions will have their student status cancelled.

(2) In case of policy adjustment of the Ministry of Education, the latest regulations of the Ministry of Education shall prevail.

(3) If there are special regulations on the level or specialty of enrollment in some provinces, the announcement of the provincial education authority shall prevail.

Enrollment target

The online higher academic education of our school is a part-time education mainly for in-service employees.

Personnel with junior college or above in national education series can apply for junior college starting undergraduate education.

Persons with high school, vocational high school, technical school, technical secondary school or above diplomas or equivalent academic qualifications can apply for junior college or undergraduate education at the beginning of high school, and the age of application must be 18 years old.

For students registered in spring, their pre certificate shall be obtained no later than February 28 of that year.

For students registered in autumn, their pre certificate shall be obtained no later than August 31 of that year.

Registration is organized throughout the year and registered in spring and autumn

Application materials: Applicants (including those applying for examination free admission) must take their second generation ID card, original graduation certificate and electronic version of 2-inch ID photos (bareheaded, front, color, blue background) to the local Open Distance Education Learning Center to register. The learning center will scan the original student ID card and graduation certificate and collect electronic photos after passing the examination one by one according to the specified academic qualifications. All applicants must provide authentic and valid certificates to go through registration procedures and accept review. After completing the registration, students need to sign on the Student Registration Form for confirmation.

matters needing attention:

There is no registration examination fee for advanced students.

If the name of the graduation certificate is different from that of the ID card, the original valid certificate issued by the household registration department must be presented.

Junior college at the beginning of high school

① Have a junior college diploma or above in national education.

Junior college starting point Undergraduate

① Have a bachelor's degree or above in national education.

② The score of the latest adult college entrance examination reaches the undergraduate admission mark specified by the local provincial and municipal recruitment office (original entrance examination permit and transcript are required).

③ Those who have participated in the latest national or provincial general college entrance examination and achieved a score above the college entrance control line (original examination permit and transcript are required).

High school starting point Bachelor

① Have a junior college diploma or above in national education.

② The latest adult college entrance examination score has reached the undergraduate admission mark specified by the local provincial and municipal recruitment office (original entrance examination permit and transcript are required).

(2) Entrance examination: Those who do not meet the above requirements for examination free admission must apply for the entrance examination organized by the School of Continuing Education of Northeastern University.

Admission qualification review

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, the students who apply for the online education from junior college to undergraduate, from senior high school to junior college, and from senior high school to undergraduate must apply for admission (including examination free admission) according to the corresponding educational conditions. It is strictly prohibited for those who have not obtained the junior college graduation certificate to obtain the undergraduate admission qualification of the junior college starting point; It is strictly prohibited for those who have graduated from non senior secondary education or do not have the same educational level to obtain the junior college or undergraduate qualification for starting high school. All applicants must provide authentic and valid certificates for review and registration. If the graduation certificate provided by the student cannot be confirmed on the China Higher Education Student Information Network (www.chsi. com. cn), the student must produce the qualification verification report provided by the National University Student Information Consulting and Employment Guidance Center to be eligible for admission. Those who hold unqualified graduation certificates (such as forged certificates, non national education series certificates, certificates issued by local authorities only for local recognition, higher education graduation certificates not registered electronically according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, etc.) will be disqualified from admission and will recover their certificates once they are found after examination, and the students themselves will be responsible for the cost losses caused thereby.

Admission, payment and course selection registration

Total tuition fees for higher education=tuition standards per credit * 150 credits

Total tuition for college to undergraduate=tuition standard per credit * 80 credits

Total tuition of junior college students=tuition standard per credit * 80 credits

Payment method: before the first semester of each academic year starts, the fees shall be paid according to the credits. The tuition payable for each academic year is the total credits of the courses planned for the academic year of the corresponding professional level multiplied by the tuition standard, and the tuition standard for each credit is not more than 120 yuan (Liaojianfa [2003] No. 15). The college implements online payment, and students must pay their own fees on the learning platform before the deadline of course selection.

Course selection: When freshmen enter the school, the Open Distance Education Learning Center will select courses collectively for students according to the school's class plan.

Registration: After paying the first tuition fee, the school will review the qualifications of the formally admitted students, and those who meet the conditions will be registered as students.

Teaching and learning

Teaching mode: online classroom+online guidance+courseware and teaching materials self-study+forum question answering+course assignments+centralized examination+graduation thesis (design).

Regular performance accounts for 40% of the total score, except for formative assessment and practical assessment courses.

general examination

The unified examination refers to the national unified examination carried out by the Ministry of Education for some public basic courses of network education in pilot universities of modern distance education. The examination object is the undergraduate level network academic education students in the modern distance education pilot ordinary colleges and universities.

The subjects of the unified examination are determined according to different educational starting points and different professional categories:

Graduation certificate and degree certificate

Students who have completed the prescribed courses within the prescribed period of study and completed the corresponding credits must take part in the national unified examination for some public basic courses of network education in modern distance education pilot universities and pass the examination. If the graduation appraisal is qualified, according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education on online education, the graduation certificate of Northeast University (indicating online education) will be issued and reported to the Ministry of Education for electronic registration of academic qualifications. The registration code of learning type is "7" and the academic qualifications are recognized by the state.

According to the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Academic Degrees and the Implementation Measures of Northeastern University on the Granting of Bachelor's Degree to Undergraduate Graduates of Network Education, undergraduate graduates who meet the requirements for awarding bachelor's degree in network education of Northeastern University can apply for the adult bachelor's degree of Northeastern University.
