What are the causes of rotor failure of corrosion-resistant centrifugal pump for chemical industry

On Corrosion resistant centrifugal pump for chemical industry During the use of, the mechanical seal often leaks, and the operation of the mechanical seal immediately endangers the normal operation of the centrifugal pump. The mechanical seal is also called the end face seal. It has a pair of end faces that vertically split the axis of rotation. Under the effect of liquid working pressure and compensation for the external elasticity of the machine, the end faces rely on the mutual cooperation of the auxiliary seal to keep up with the other end, And slide relatively to avoid liquid leakage.

As one of the centrifugal pumps, chemical special corrosion resistant centrifugal pump is widely used in various industries. However, in the use process, there are often problems such as improper operation of the equipment, aging of the equipment itself, etc., so the equipment will have some failures after a period of use. The rotor is the key component of the centrifugal pump, and it is also a part that is very prone to failure. Common rotor faults include rotor imbalance, rotor axial force, rotor bending, friction between rotor and motor stator, and rotor misalignment. Let's analyze them point by point.

1. It is a problem of rotor imbalance. In the equipment, one rotor usually has a drive shaft and several turntables are added. Because every rotary table has the possibility of having a mass axial force, according to this kind of reasoning method, it is very likely that two above the rotary table will convert the mass axial force of multiple simple harmonic motions into one or several vector materials when the centrifugal pump is operating, thus causing the problem of rotor imbalance. The harm of rotor imbalance to all normal work of centrifugal pump is: low work efficiency, large vibration and noise.

2. It is a difficult problem of rotor axial force. The reason why the rotor often generates axial force is that there is no inscribed circle between the motor stator and the rotor, which causes the first order frequency vibration during the whole process of rotation. In addition, the vibration between the centrifugal impeller and the leaf is generated due to the imbalance of the liquid.

3. It is a difficult problem of rotor bending. Generally speaking, the reason for the bending failure of the rotor is that the physical characteristics of the rotor have changed due to the long-term stop of use. Relatively, rotor bending can also be divided into two conditions, one is temporary bending, the other is long-term dissipation. The temporary bending can be repaired, because the centrifugal pump may suffer from heavy load, insufficient warm-up, too fast speed ratio, etc; The bending cannot be repaired because of the curve of the design scheme, or because the cold and heat are relatively fast during long-term parking.

4. Fault caused by rotor misalignment. The center line of the middle of the rotor of the corrosion resistant centrifugal pump for chemical industry is caused by the difference in the installation of the coupling, the transmission fitness exercise and the torque, or the cold and hot operation, or the deformation and basically uneven precipitation after installation. Continuous operation under the condition of rotor misalignment will reduce the service life of centrifugal pump and increase the probability of damage.

5. Friction fault between rotor and motor stator. Once the rotor rubs with the motor stator after rotation, it will lead to co shock, sudden amplitude expansion and continuous noise increase. Friction is fatal to rotor.

The above is the cause of the rotor fault of the corrosion resistant centrifugal pump for chemical industry. Only when the user understands the cause of the fault, can the fault be timely checked and handled, so as to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
