The Taiwan Affairs Office of Hailing District carried out the activity of promoting Taiwan related education into colleges and universities

On April 28, the website of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province reported that recently, the Taiwan related education and publicity activity of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hailing District "Tai Tai Family Gathers in Hailing" was successfully held in Taizhou University.  

Bu Huifen, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of Taizhou University, Zhang Jinhua, director of Taizhou Civil Religious Bureau, Kong Lingming, deputy secretary of Hailing District Party Committee and head of the United Front Work Department, and others attended the event. More than 200 people participated in the event, including the heads of relevant departments (units) in the district, representatives of new social strata in the district, lawyers, and representatives of teachers and students from all ethnic groups. More than 100 brochures related to Taiwan were distributed at the event site.  

Through this series of publicity activities, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hailing District will take Taiwan related education as the core content of patriotism education and national spirit education, strive to create a Taiwan related education brand for contemporary college students, promote teachers and students across the Straits to further deepen understanding and enhance friendship, and take this opportunity to actively carry out multi-level, multi-dimensional, multi-channel, and multi form exchanges. We should guide college students in Thailand to understand Taiwan's history, become familiar with the country's policies towards Taiwan, establish a correct view of history, nationality, country and culture, influence and drive Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan teachers and students with the youthful attitude of young people, and promote the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.
