Ministry of Foreign Affairs: We hope that countries outside the region will not cause trouble for peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait

Lin Jian: Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. China is unswerving in its determination to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity. China has always respected the right of navigation enjoyed by all countries in accordance with international law, but firmly opposes any country's provocation and threat to China's sovereignty and security in the name of freedom of navigation. The Asia Pacific region is a highland of global peace and development. We hope that countries outside the region will do more to promote peace, stability and prosperity, jointly safeguard regional development, and refrain from provoking provocations and creating troubles for peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
