[David Picasso] Ideas are changing every day. Any design I made yesterday will change this morning. Every day, the world is completely different. [David Picasso] My inspiration comes from the great tradition and culture. [Tencent Home] You have always been very concerned about environmental protection. How do you view the road to sustainable development in the future?

[David Picasso] Sustainability is a responsibility. You, me, my grandmother, my father, your uncle 、 Your son, everyone has a responsibility. We want to make the earth better and hope that this planet will last for thousands of years.

But if we continue with the current design method, it may change the fate of the earth, and there will be less and less life on the earth. This responsibility is not only the responsibility of professionals, but also a moral responsibility, which is an important responsibility of everyone.

[Tencent Home] Wallpaper is a relatively environment-friendly material. What role do you think wallpapers play in space?

[David Picasso] Wallpaper is a good decorative material because it is a cost-effective way to decorate space. If there is a white room, attach wallpaper, and the room will change immediately. Wallpaper can make people feel happy, calm and excited, and can bring a variety of colors to the room in a short time. Therefore, wallpaper is a material that can quickly change the appearance of the room, and the price is very reasonable.

Wallpapers should calm people down

[Tencent Home] You have designed many large-scale architectural projects and interior designs. How do you usually use wallpaper?

[David Picasso] The space created by wallpaper should be able to calm people down. When you come here to sit with your wife and talk with your children, wallpaper can give you a hug and make you feel welcome. The space created by wallpaper should make people feel friendly. Wallpapers and lights set off each other, making people feel calm. This is the feeling you want to get when you are with your family. For me, wallpaper is not surprising: you see, I'm here. On the contrary, wallpaper should calm people down.

[Tencent Home] Have you ever been exposed to German Marburg wallpaper before? What are your impressions?

[David Picasso] Of course. I have used (Marburg, Germany) wallpaper many times before. One of the reasons I like this company (Marburg, Germany) is that it is willing to take risks. The company I like will not think that China likes this product and will produce it; Spain likes this product and produces it; Germany likes this product and produces it.

The choice of wallpaper needs field experience

[Tencent Home] Which dimensions should the public pay attention to when selecting wallpaper?

[David Picasso] First of all, if you go to the store to feel the wallpaper, take it outside the store. It's like opening this wallpaper version and taking it outside. In addition, the light inside the store is different from that outside. Let's look at it in another place. When we were in the store, we saw this. When we walked outside, we saw a different look. If you want to know the wallpaper you want to buy, you can go to the hotel or friends' home where you use this wallpaper. Because what you see is often a sample, but the size of the wallpaper is larger in actual use. The larger the size, the different the effect. Stone and plant are the same. The size will change the effect.

[David Picasso] This is the same as other things in life. As I said, it needs to be read. There are many words printed on each bottle, so you need to read the contents written in the instructions on the back of the bottle. Ask questions, don't believe what you read. Second, I will ask a series of questions because I only use recycled materials to make wallpaper. In other words, if you cut down a tree, you will plant another tree. If you pull up a tree, you must plant another tree. Using such materials can help our world become more sustainable.
