It is reported that about 150 residents and fishery practitioners in Fukushima, Miyagi, Iwate, Ibaraki, Chiba, Tokyo, Niigata and other places sued the Japanese government and Tepco on the same day, demanding to stop the discharge of nuclear contaminated water into the sea. According to the Kyodo News Agency of Japan, the Japanese people who filed the lawsuit said in the indictment that the discharge of nuclear contaminated water into the sea violated the people's right to a stable life, and fishery practitioners faced difficulties in maintaining their livelihoods. The Japan Atomic Energy Regulatory Commission was required to cancel the permit for discharging into the sea and prohibit TEPCO from continuing to discharge nuclear contaminated water into the sea.
