In 2023, Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism (Shandong Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics) organized the selection of the physical prototype of Shandong's cultural relics logo. After cultural relics selection, expert demonstration, soliciting opinions and other work, it was finally determined that the eggshell black pottery high handle cup was the physical prototype of Shandong's cultural relics logo. In order to enhance the brand influence of cultural relics in Shandong Province, the Shandong Cultural Relics Logo Design Competition is now held to collect outstanding works from all walks of life.
