The opening ceremony of the 2023 National Cyber Security Publicity Week was held at Fuzhou Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center at 9 a.m. on September 11.

This year's Cyber Security Publicity Week, with the theme of "Cyber security is for the people and cyber security depends on the people", carried out thematic publicity activities around the major achievements in the field of cyber security since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and deeply publicized important laws and regulations such as the Cyber Security Law, the Data Security Law, the Personal Information Protection Law, and the Regulations on the Security Protection of Key Information Infrastructure Policy documents and national standards. During this year's Cyber Security Week, in addition to the opening ceremony, there will also be Cyber Security Expo, Cyber Security Technology Summit Forum, Cyber Security Micro Video Solicitation, as well as theme days, grassroots activities, etc.

In 2023, the National Cybersecurity Publicity Week will be jointly organized by the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Cyberspace Office, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the People's Bank of China, the State Administration of Radio and Television, the All China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the All China Women's Federation and other ten departments. The opening ceremony and other important activities were undertaken by the Cyberspace Office of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government.
