Deputy Director Zhang Long said at the event that Hangzhou has rich intangible cultural heritage resources in addition to the West Lake, the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal and Liangzhu. At present, Hangzhou has 5 intangible cultural heritage items (7 sub items), 48 national intangible cultural heritage items, 198 provincial intangible cultural heritage items, and 428 representative municipal intangible cultural heritage items. It is hoped that guided by the activity of leaving relatives of intangible cultural heritage, Hangzhou and Xiamen will strengthen the exchange of intangible cultural heritage projects, learn from each other, jointly improve the level of intangible cultural heritage protection, fully demonstrate the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage, and spread the excellent traditional culture of the two places deeper and further.

 

Wei Feng, Deputy Director General, said that cultural exchanges between Xiamen and Hangzhou have always been very close, and the departure of Hangzhou's intangible cultural heritage has built an effective platform for the interaction and exchange of the work of intangible cultural heritage between the two places. Later, Pan Tingting, a teacher of Hangzhou Tanhuang Intangible Cultural Heritage Project, sang "Poetic Charm of the West Lake". Through familiar ancient poems, she sang the beautiful scenery of the West Lake. With beautiful melody and graceful singing, the beautiful scenery of the West Lake slowly unfolded in front of the audience.

 

Since ancient times, Chinese literati have regarded burning incense, arranging flowers, hanging pictures and ordering tea as the four major pleasures of life. In the performance of the teacher of Hangzhou Jingshan Tea Banquet, the audience appreciated the tea of Song Dynasty, felt the elegant tea charm of Song people and exquisite life aesthetics, and demonstrated the cultural charm of intangible cultural heritage.

 

Later, at the round table meeting of "Two Places Happily Meet", Xu Ying, director of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Department of Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, Liu Wenlin, a third level researcher of the Public Service Department (Intangible Cultural Heritage Department) of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Tang Xiaojun, fan making technology (Wang Xingji fan), Yu Aihua, stone seal cutting ancient Philippines, Li Fagen, a traditional tea making technology Lu Huafang, a craftsman of making Jiuqu black plum and black tea, held a heated discussion on the inheritance, protection and innovative development of intangible cultural heritage on the stage with inheritors and teachers of intangible cultural heritage projects such as Xiamen Huihe Shadow Carving Zhang Xiaozhen, Xiamen Oolong Tea Refining Technique Chen Zhixiong, traditional fragrance making Chen Jianbing, and Zhuguang Celadon Zhuang Cenhan. At the scene, a Xiamen local child splashed ink and wrote down the theme of this activity - "A cup of tea, two places happy to meet" on the scroll, planting the seeds of intangible cultural heritage in children's hearts, taking root and growing up.

 

With the leaders of the two places taking group photos with the theme scroll, the 2023 intangible cultural heritage exchange and exhibition activity of "a cup of tea, a happy meeting between the two places" was officially launched.

 

At the intangible cultural heritage theme exhibition site, Hangzhou's green tea making techniques (West Lake Longjing), Jingshan tea feast, Jiuqu red plum black tea making techniques, tea ordering, traditional tea making techniques, stone seal cutting, Wang Xingji fan making techniques and other intangible cultural heritage projects were presented brilliantly. Xiamen also organized Xiamen's Oolong tea refining techniques, traditional fragrance making techniques, pearl celadon Huihe Shadow Sculpture and other traditional intangible cultural heritage handicrafts with local characteristics and intangible cultural heritage projects are displayed and interacted together, bringing a variety of intangible cultural heritage project manual experience.
