Shen Xiaoming, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Government, welcomed the delegations from China and Vietnam, congratulated the 12th meeting of the China Vietnam People's Forum held in Shaoshan, and briefly introduced the situation of Hunan Province. He said that in recent years, in accordance with the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two parties and countries, Hunan has achieved fruitful cooperation with Vietnam in economic and trade exchanges, people to people and cultural exchanges, and is willing to work with all Vietnamese parties to further deepen practical cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, industry, science and technology, education, culture and tourism, and better learn from each other and achieve win-win cooperation.
On behalf of the Vietnamese delegation, Pan Yingshan thanked Hunan for its warm reception and congratulated Hunan on its achievements in economic and social development. He said that the meeting held in Shaoshan, Hunan, is of great and special significance. Vietnam will take this opportunity to learn from Hunan's development experience, further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Hunan in the development of new quality productivity, sister city construction and other aspects, and also welcome more Hunan enterprises to invest in Vietnam.
