Four national standards for mine ecological restoration implemented in August

Reporters learned from the May regular press conference held by the Ministry of Natural Resources on the 15th that the Ministry of Natural Resources recently issued Technical Specifications for Land Reclamation and Ecological Restoration of Coal Mines, Technical Specifications for Land Reclamation and Ecological Restoration of Metal Mines, Technical Specifications for Land Reclamation and Ecological Restoration of Oil and Gas Projects, and Technical Specifications for Monitoring and Evaluation of Land Reclamation and Ecological Restoration of Mines 4 national standards for mine ecological restoration. Lu Lihua, Deputy Director of the Department of Land, Space and Ecological Restoration of the Ministry of Natural Resources, said that four national standards will be officially implemented on August 1 this year. This is one of the first national standards for ecological restoration of mines in production, which puts forward requirements for "mining and restoration" of production mines, filling the gap in this field.

It is reported that the series of standards provide scientific support for mining enterprises to carry out ecological restoration. According to the requirements of the whole process of governance and restoration, the ecological restoration chain will be extended from the end of governance to the source of protection, emphasizing protection priority, source prevention and control, unified planning and overall implementation, combination of manual guidance and natural recovery, systematic governance, improvement of functions, public participation, whole process monitoring, and putting forward landscape remodeling, soil reconstruction, vegetation reconstruction The specific measures and requirements for landscape construction provide technical support for mining enterprises to scientifically carry out reclamation and restoration and improve the governance effect.
