In the first quarter of this year, the growth rate of the added value of the city's service industry increased by 1 percentage point year on year. The added value of the service industry accounted for 51.1% of GDP, 1.6 percentage points higher than that of the previous year; There are 48 new key service enterprises, ranking the third in the province. 1、 Focus on cultivating the brand subject. In recent years, our city has focused on cultivating service industry market players as a basic project to promote service industry brand building, established a reward mechanism, service mechanism and target task mechanism, and built a working system to cultivate service industry market players. First, we actively selected and trained leading talents in the service industry to improve their capabilities. Last year, the city selected a total of 60 municipal service industry leading talents, of which 5 were selected into the provincial service industry leading talents candidate list. Through the organization of special training, the awareness and ability of enterprise brand creation are constantly improved. The second is to comprehensively implement the contracting mechanism of service enterprises around optimizing services. Third, focus on building brand characteristics. Focusing on the actual needs of key fields such as characteristic industries, modern service industries, and modern agriculture, we will focus on building labor and business brands with regional and industrial characteristics. Last year, the city newly identified 19 regional characteristic labor brands, such as Huangzhou nurse, Xishuidan master, Macheng old rice distiller, Huangmei cross stitch embroiderer, Qichun Shizhen herbal chef, etc. Seven labor brands including "Qichun Moxibustion Master" have been included in the provincial labor brand resource database. At the same time, we strongly support the brand development of the local leading enterprise Huangshang Group and make it bigger and stronger. By 2023, Huangshang Group has developed 324 private brand single products, opened 241 chain stores, spread across all counties and cities in Huanggang, and extended to Wuhan, Ezhou, Anqing and other places.

Huangshang Group was selected as one of the top 100 chain operators and top 100 commercial retailers in China. It passed the acceptance of the national service industry standardization pilot project, won the title of "Top 100 in Hubei Service Industry", and won the fourth Hubei Reform Award.

Fourth, focus on brand promotion. Continue to carry out the brand construction of "time-honored brands". Last year, the city recommended 2 enterprises (brands) to apply for "China time-honored brands", striving to create a national brand.
