Hehong Ru

He Hongru (female), born in Quyang County, Hebei Province in April 1972, is a worker of Hongyuan Sculpture Factory in Quyang County with secondary school education.

Based on traditional sculpture and traditional culture, she combines traditional sculpture techniques with modern aesthetics, innovates boldly, shows the beautiful form and unique temperament of ancient women, makes her works simple and full of verve, and leads a large number of young sculpture workers to join in the creative awakening trend of seeking innovation and change, which is emulated by many handicraft manufacturers. She pays attention to energy conservation and consumption reduction, and effectively uses the remaining leftovers to design small sculpture works, turning waste into treasure. His works have won many awards in national and provincial arts and crafts exhibitions and competitions, which has promoted the transformation and upgrading of the handicraft production market in the county. She has successively won the title of Baoding Arts and Crafts Master, Hebei Arts and Crafts Industry Person of the Year, Hebei Crafts Craftsman, and Hebei Arts and Crafts Industry Master. In 2018, she was awarded Hebei May Day Labor Medal by Hebei Federation of Trade Unions.
